emilyrobe.virtualassistant
Emily set up her virtual assistance business in 2008, after an informal conversation with a businessman who subsequently became her first client. Recognising an opportunity in the local market place, that informal conversation was the catalyst for what is now a growing enterprise.
No stranger to entrepreneurial projects, having previously co-ordinated the Derbyshire Real Nappy Network from inception to a successful handover to the local council. Emily has used past experience, latest technologies and innovative thinking to consistently deliver a first class service to her clients.
An experienced Personal Assistant, with over twenty years service in a variety of settings, she recognises the value of good support, professionalism and attention to detail. Quickly picking up a keen interest in Social Media Marketing, Emily is keen to expand this and is undertaking a BA (Hons) in Marketing Management from September 2010.
Emily is also one of the co-founders of the VA Support Group (VASG) which aims to promote collaborative working amongst the UK VA community and offer Virtual Assistants a real time support network for their own businesses.
